Uwajimaya provides health benefits, paid time off, employee discounts after 90 day and 401 K after 180days. Also they provide a flexible schedule.

Cons

If you want leave ,you must give them 2 weeks notice.

Nice people and usually nice customers make a great work place. Flexible hours allow easy wprk for students.

Cons

Terrible pay and a clear racial bias prevents people from moving up. You do not feel valued as a worker. High turnover means you will be spending time baby sitting newbies. Poor benefits like 10% off feel like a joke.

Uwajimaya is so much fun, one of the best teams as far as co-workers, it's like a big family.

Cons

The turnover rate with cashiers is huge, management has a hard time catering to people's schedules and the payout isn't worth the stay.
