Pros

V Shred allows you to be the best you. Innovation and thinking outside the box is highly encouraged. You don't need permission to make things better. Leadership up to VP and the board are actively engaged in the day to day operations. My manager is highly approachable, gracious, and eager to help me succeed.

Cons

When I first started, I would say communication. However, the organization has taken a head first approach in improving this, with weekly townhalls, newsletters, and intradepartment check ins.

Pros

Motivation and growth has endless possibility for V Shred. We have an amazing group of brilliant and compassionate people in this organization. VS Leadership is truly showing signs of self-awareness & taking the right steps in creating a new and thriving culture for its teams. Leaders want to be better, and want to grow with the people they have empowered to join them on this journey.

Cons

Mindset: Stay open-minded and remember to breathe. As we are driving aggressive change and growth through out the organization. We'll need to adjust our mindset and process along the way. We are running a marathon constantly, and need to slow down, and enjoy the journey.

Pros

I love the fact that at this company they executive team really views their team as the experts in their role and empowers them to make decisions. In the operations realm of the business there is constant pressure to find ways to optimize the business while decreasing the overall costs. It has been amazing how quickly ideas and changes have been embraced by the partners to execute and drive to completion. The upper level management is very willing to invest in the right people and software to keep this company on the rocket ship to the moon it is already on. There is very little micromanagement in the business. I also really enjoy the way the organization calls on A players to drive the business. Those that they see are pushing the needle are given continued growth opportunities and rewarded for their work. Finally the organization has seen the benefit of project managers in each department to help drive initiatives and keep each function marching to the beat of the organizations drum. I really feel like this has proven to be a very helpful strategy to drive the business forward and execute very quickly and effectively on projects and major strategies.

Cons

This is a small but rapidly growing business that is trying to always run quicker than they can walk. I think there are a couple of areas that the business is having to clean the wounds on and learn to walk before they can run. Classic small growing business problems. I personally love this aspect of startup companies but for some who like structure and the security of everyday being the same this could be a con. The biggest con is the current insurance policy is not very friendly for out of state employees.
