Pros

Hands down, this is the best place I have ever worked. Everyone is focused hard on crushing it and getting better at what they do. The dev team is full of smart people who are always ready to help and eager to learn. There are no big egos and no bickering. I get a lot of control over how I architect my app, so I have had a chance to build things the way I think they should be built. I think a lot of the devs feel this way, so everyone has a strong sense of ownership over their code. Of course, that ownership comes with responsibility to make sure you building and testing things well. Some people might really like the pool table, the snacks, or the giant bean bag chairs, but my favorite part about working at V Shred is that the bosses are really trying to make you get better. We have a monthly book club where the company gives everyone a copy of a book and the entire office participates in. We get free subscriptions to Linked Learning and laracasts.com and probably some other sites. I know the company has even paid for other employee's to go to conferences. The bosses admit when they make mistakes. They are trying to get better everyday. They are fired up and want to succeed. In the end, if you work here, you will be better at your job by the time you leave. If you aren't looking to improve your skills, or have a large ego, this might not be the job for you.

Cons

Nothing. This is the best job I have ever had.
