Pros

They care about employees, they encourage us to learn (building assistants and training them to be technicians, CE opportunities, and on slow nights, sometimes doctors will do their own CEs just to teach us more about things we deal with)

Cons

It’s not ideal to work nights and weekends, but honestly it’s worth it.

Pros

-The group is like a family -Very supportive management and staff -Regular feedback from the medical director -Flexible schedule -12 shifts/month is full time -Large amount of control over the invoice and what you do and don't charge for -Clientele are often very nice -We allow owners to be present for the whole visit and watch procedures which adds value to their experience -You can write your records from home -Unlimited CE with large stipend for travel -You can nap during your shift! (sometimes) -Higher ups are very accessible and responsive to concerns

Cons

-14 hour overnight shifts (or longer with record writing) -When it gets busy we can be understaffed as only one doctor, one technician, and one assistant are in the hospital overnight (which can make something like a CPR code, surgery, or large number of inpatients difficult) -Many people have been hired for hospitals that are not open yet so they are working far away from home until the hospitals can open
