Pros
Flexibility to work from anywhere while traveling (with good wifi and a quiet room). Good for extra cash or if you live in Europe or Asia with little expenses.
Cons
In the 7 years I've taught part-time with VIPKid I've taught over 1700 different studentsI have nearly perfect 5 star ratings. In that time, not only have I never gotten a raise, they actually reduced the pay around 2021 when the company went through some legislative changes with Beijing. Strict policies if you experience an IT issue which disrupts the class. Or if you must cancel a class. You are fined $10.
