Budgets getting slashed year over year, lack of tranparency.

Personal politics drove (and I understand still drive today) a toxic, unbelievably nasty environment within Legal. While an attempt to clean house has begun, it is woefully inadequate. Nasty managers who purposefully belittle their attorneys as punishment for the manager's lack of ability to do their part to support their employees, or to punish for perceived pushback by the employee (god forbid an attorney not agree with their manager in all things). Excellent lawyers who are made to feel of no value so they don't leave or look elsewhere, or to push them out because they angered their manager. All decisions are personal and subjective, it all depends on who likes you to get ahead. Raises are not good, and they have lost almost all their minority/diverse attorneys in the past year.
