Cons

-Newest SVP of America's does NOT have VMWare style of management and thats a bit worry-some for the future. He is also bringing all his friends from his former employer.

great launch pad for career... Very few IT companies have such a breadth of software that touches all aspects of IT that allows motivated SEs to become extremely well rounded and critical to the success of their customers.

Cons

very stove-piped product management (at the time, <2015) seems to have gotten better - but it's a consequence of acquisitions. Many people complained of "popularity contest" type of atmosphere... This can be rectified by being outgoing and engaging with colleagues. Cloud stragegy.
