High pay with opportunities to work overseas. Safety is a priority among coworkers.

Cons

Contracts end and can leave you jobless. Security clearance process takes forever.

Pros

Was able to work on many different projects in the US and overseas. Very good benefits package and pay, not to mention advancement and education. Many of fellow employees are retired Military or prior have prior Military experience.

Cons

Most projects are government contracts that are not as plentiful and must be able to cross train or obtain other qualifications to enable you to work in multiple fields.
