I worked with incredibly smart, talented, collaborative, and kind people at VTS. The office was well-designed and comfortable. Good work-life balance.

Cons

Frequent layoffs created ongoing uncertainty, with limited communication from leadership, and were handled in an impersonal way. A mandatory return-to-office policy removed what had previously been a strong element of flexibility. The culture often felt like a frat house, with leadership and promotion paths skewing heavily toward white men.

No 401k matching. All hands meetings told us a lot about nothing. Lots of gatekeeping when it came to receiving business health updates.
