Not like your normal recruiting company
Pros
If you can conceive of a recruiting company that actually REALLY CARES and LISTENS TO YOUR WISHES AS TO THE TYPE OF WORK YOU WANT TO DO, your in for an eye opening experience at Vaco. The folks that own and work for Vaco REALLY DO CARE---( I know, what a concept!). Most recruiters I have worked with just want a body to fill a position. The difference with this firm is that they probably personally know the H.R. people in any given company they have an open position in. They don't grab "help wanted" ads from the net and re-post them on their site (you know how you see the same ad in a dozen different job sites!). Their jobs are unique to them and that alone gives you the edge. You walk into an interview knowing that, in effect, one friend had recommended you to another friend. Doesn't get any better than that. I would recommend any serious job seeker to call Vaco Louisville, ask for Kim or Holly---and if your pass their standards, your in good hands!
