Pros

Ski pass that’s about it

Cons

Employees are not valued here whatsoever, they can underpay you, and overwork you and treat you like replaceable scum. Sell their slogan about an “expierence of a lifetime” ask any of the employees here they will tell you it was quite the opposite. They keep a revolving door here, get new employees in and get rid of them in a span of two years. Employee housing is terrible lots of drugs theft in rooms, and a loud party environment. Can’t leave valuable things in your room. Lots of employees are on drugs when I was a Liftie people would operate the ski lift on cocaine, lsd, marijuana, and alcohol I have seen it first hand. Everyone has fake urine that they get from eagle vail so no one is worried. I had a miserable time in my two years and am so thrilled I am getting out in a few days. The skiing was fun here but the rest of it was a horrible job

Pros

Ski and lodging discounts, fun customers

Cons

Vail/Beaver Creek owned and operated reservations is specifically dreadful (VBCRP). They promise a cool job and it turns out there is an 80% annual turnover rate in this position.. They lie about potential earnings and you will not make enough money to live in Colorado. Civil rights, FMLA and EEOC violations and complaints are common, management has less education and professional experience than agents commonly do. Micromanagement tactics, EVERY SINGLE CALL YOU TAKE IS LISTENED TO AND COMMENTED ON, there is no independence, sales coaches who have never even skied before, and I could go on. Terrible experience throughout. Horrible place to work and a brown stain on an otherwise nice white ski run.
