Pros

Made all of my best friends here. Felt like I was at the center of the ski industry.

Cons

You’re either on your way up or you are cast aside and ignored. I experienced both at times.

Pros

Employees are usually like minded individuals and the environment is healthy.

Cons

They reorganize departments too often making the company rather unpredictable they recently fired entire HR and marketing teams at individual resorts. Vail cares about one thing. The stock market. They will purchase 18 new resorts at a time to stay relevant and afloat but this business model is not sustainable as they tend to abuse the employees at these resorts and though they gather data on guest experience, it is never used in a positive light. They do not care about you as the guest, just what is in your wallet.
