Pros
There are new seasonal employees hired every year, and they are a joy to work with. Their ambition and energy was the best part of my job. Watching my team grow and move into new roles was the highlight of my time here.
Cons
It is difficult to convey the severe lack of competence, engagement, and business accumen of the leadership team in this department. Expect to be thrown under the bus for any mistake you make. Expect to be stood up for meetings, have emails go unresponded to for weeks, and have important managerial tasks fall by the wayside. I also feel there is an ethical issue underlying this department. Lying and hiding information were a routine occurrence. If you are someone who likes to use data and analysis to drive decision making, and recommend solutions, DO NOT WORK IN TA. The loudest voice always wins, regardless of the facts. As an analytical person, this was the biggest con, and the reason they have perpetual turnover and routinely fail to meet attainable business goals.
