Pros

Very good benefits and compensation, but what really makes this a great corporation is the people.

Cons

Promotions may be limited to only a "select" group.

Pros

Gained valuable knowledge that I took with me to my next job

Cons

They force you to work overtime or they threaten to take your vacation away if you don't cover open shift. Every year around bonus time and time for your raise you and everyone else gets blind sided with negative feedback and a few chosen people will excel. Would rather have seen a flat line across the board raise to everyone to make it more of a team reward.

Sadly disappointed.

Pros

The pay was great, physical aspect of the job because it passes time, working outside because it allows you to be active and not sit behind a computer all day, how their were opportunities to do more and help with projects and get more experience, most of my co-workers were great and didn't mind being a team player, the benefits were excellent.

Cons

Shift work, getting forced to work overtime a lot, working holidays, the long shifts, relief time being so early in the morning. Personally for me, the HR team at Texas City was TERRIBLE.
