Thank you for providing a review. I'm happy to hear that you find the flexibility and growth potential to be positives. We are focused on doing everything possible to decrease our part time associate attrition. While our turnover in these roles is comparable to similar and all other industries that hire part time, we believe the additional work being done to increase pay, add benefits such as tuition reimbursement and our rewards and recognition program will help. We have a comprehensive recruiting strategy and tool/resources available for our District Managers. If you would like to discuss these further, please reach out to me directly at antonio.fiorentino@valetliving.com.

Pros

As a district manager, training has been thorough. My boss has been supportive of me and transition into the role. There's plenty of opportunity within the company to do greater things. I've seen several people get promoted in my short time here. It's very hands on. You can work remotely.

Cons

Pay is on the low end when you consider the title. Most DMs have managers/supervisors between the front-line and themselves. Not the case here. Part-time retention efforts aren't as great from the company side when you consider that your associates are picking up trash.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide a review. It sounds like things are going well for you thus far and you have pointed out a few reasons why we believe we are an employer of choice for someone seeking a new opportunity with a fast growing company. I would like to follow up on a few items you have listed. In reference to pay, we continuously benchmark our compensation plans within industry and alike to ensure we remain competitive in total compensation offering (base pay, bonus, benefits, perks, etc). Our Service Valets are the backbone of our company and efforts remain top priority to decrease the overall attrition rate. We have introduced several programs this year (safety, rewards and recognition, tuition reimbursement, and in certain markets increased pay) to help with retention. We have also streamlined our Service Valet recruitment process, reducing the amount of time to hire someone by more than half. Regarding you final comment, please reach out to me directly so we can discuss further. My email is antonio.fiorentino@valetliving.com

Pros

District managers care about employees and scheduling is very flexible. Evening hours are great for people with full time jobs or school who are looking to make a little extra money and get exercise.

Cons

Hours can be very limited. No upward mobility without college degree or management experience. Work is generally outside which mean inclement weather is more difficult to work in. Job can be very dirty at times.

Thank you for posting this review. I'm glad to hear you are enjoying your time with Valet Living and area able to take advantage of the flexible scheduling. I am curious about your comment relative to mobility without a college degree or management experience. We fill about 50% of our District Manager positions from within the company and have promoted many associates that do not have either a college degree or management experience. If you would like to discuss these opportunities further with me, please email me at antonio.fiorentino@valetliving.com.
