Pros

Pay Schedule flexibility Career education reimbursement If you enjoy being around people, this is a great place to work. You meet a lot of new people on a regular basis.

Cons

Issues with benefits and payroll can take a long time to be resolved. Work environment can be an issue if you enjoy natural lighting or windows. Headquarters for various departments are located in different time zones, which can lead to very delayed responses or issues reaching someone in the department by phone during regular business hours. Career growth tends to be slow Not enough employees to cover site specific events, which can lead to longer hours. If you draw energy from quiet environments with limited engagement with others, this specific job would not be a good fit. Pros and cons are subjective to individual perspective so listing items as one thing or another is difficult as my pros might be your cons or vice versa.

Thank you very much for the feedback. We understand that it took some time to answer Payroll and Benefits questions during the transition process following our last acquisition. We have made many great changes with our processes and within our teams. We hope you see the improvement in customer service and feel free to reach out to your People Resources Generalist if you still have questions regarding Benefits.

Pros

You get to work with pilots, assisting them with their training. In order to ensure the flight simulators are functioning properly, part of your job is piloting the aircraft and testing different characteristics of the trainer. There is good job security in between contracts (every 5 years or so.)

Cons

Your job is on the chopping block every 5 years and they are always conjuring up new sly ways to either cut the workforce down, pay you less and cut your hours to knock you out of Full Time with benefits towards "Part Time On Call" with sub par benefits. The job is seriously great! However, keep in mind that Valiant Integrated is a serious penny pincher; so much so that even their employee time recording program seems like it is one step past MS DOS. Their benefits packages are EXTREMELY expensive, so much so that my family would sink if we paid into their offered plans; Instead, we route the money for health and welfare to outside health insurance companies.

Thank you very much for the feedback on our Benefit offering. We understand that Benefits can be a large expense for associates and Valiant. Valiant has a competitive cost share for our benefits and we continue to look for ways to improve our offering. If you have questions or suggestions, feel free to contact the Benefits Team anytime.
