Pros

Initially started as an intern, "moved", a.k.a Lateral, up from a Branch to Corporate. I would say the only PROs about Valley is the people that I (thankfully) came across and/or worked with. They made work be stress free for the most part and always assisted when I needed them. Definitely will keep in touch with them. Also, I am thankful that Valley took a very proactive step when Covid first strike, keeping everyone safe but still serve the customer.

Cons

List of Cons: -They have this imagine of extending and relocating making this bank worth more but yet, they fail to compensate their employees properly. With the recent increase of employees resigning, you would think that they would consider in solving the issue by increasing wages rather, they are and will be wasting resources in hiring a new person than help already existing and seasoned employees. They are so desperate for new hires that they're willing to PAY $1000.00 as a "reward" for the referral. How does that even make sense? -Valleys culture it is absolutely disgusting! Higher up take credits from other peoples hard work but quickly point fingers when one messes up or direct any issues related to an employee to work on. -Communication its ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. It is amusing when you have different departments trying to communicate and indicating you to do something a certain way, but come back in a later time YELLING at you asking "Why did you do this?" -Seems Valley doesn't train people adequetely to do their job, there's so much back and forth communication in trying to find or solve the minuscule issue. -ALSO, it seems with every department, you got to Babysit everyone by sending constant email for a response. -Last but not least, Valley doesn't value you as an employee or as an individual. Every townhall meeting they emphasizes the importance of being a team player, and Valley this, and Valley That, when at the end of they, THEY ARE ALL JUST LOOKING OUT FOR THEM SELVES. They could care less for what Valley stands for, as long it fills their pocket then everything its good. And yes, im talking about all you Higher Ups that are only good at BASHING other people and Departments.
