Pros

Valley doesn't push so hard on sales goals. It's a more laid back banking environment than most.

Cons

Pay is low. Bank is very "conservative" meaning technologies are behind and capabilities that other banks have do not apply at Valley.

Pros

There are some pockets of great people. The company is set for changes and could be great in the future.

Cons

Everything about Valley (NY and NJ) is out of date. Diversity is lacking especially in upper management. The pay is lacking.

Pros

Good work- life balance. Hours run from 8-5 pm. Managers are open to new ideas and discussions.

Cons

Some of the software is outdated and culture is also outdated.
