Pros

Working for VNB probably would be ok as long as you don't work in customer service.

Cons

The pay sucks for the aggravation you have to deal with from customers. Selling is now a part of the job. You have to work every holiday while the rest of the bank is closed.

Pros

the management at the Mineola Branch was nice. Very friendly and very flexible

Cons

the company sucks to work for. Valley is a small community bank only located in Northern NJ and has a feww branches in NY. This bank does not care about its employees and constantly feels the need to threaten employees that there are hundreds of unemployed people waiting to get a job so we have to step up. valley national bank is horrible.
