Pros

They offer good starting pay, especially for either a current college student or a fresh out of college grad. The working environment is generally friendly and the higher ups provide nice encouragement. There is room for advancement but one must seek it out.

Cons

Not very flexible when it comes to hours, rather rigid. Because it is a bank they keep track of literally everything you do, even minor differences like a quarter over or under. Because it is a smaller bank compared to others, they heavily try to get staff to push bank products, despite most customers already having accounts, they tell you to continually ask if they want more accounts.

Decent pay but not for the frustration

Pros

Smaller bank so they do not push you as much for sales. Company is locally based

Cons

The pay is not great and the pay increases are minimal. Human resources is not helpful at all when trying to resolve an issue. They send you out to cover other branches for months at a time against your will. Part time employees are hardly part time - expected to work as many hours as possible without hitting overtime and given a hard time when a day off is needed.

Pros

Great co-workers/management (for the most part), friendly clients, very local client base

Cons

Pay is not on par with other banks (granted it is a smaller bank), very antiquated software system on both the teller line and platform (tellers still use adding machines from the 90's where as other banks simply input cash in/out to the computer), no room for promotion or transfer unless you have the ins with HR, most branches are short staffed yet will not make part-timers full-time even if they request it
