As a women 3 years in. I see that vioc is going to do what it takes to promote managers that they deem as worth based on two things. You’re a man and older than 25 ? You’re automatically miles ahead of a 22 year old girl who stared at 18 and has been told many times I am just not ready enough for big boy promotions. I’ve sat for 6 months waiting for a service center manager position offer and I only got one crap offer. I watched 7 men be promoted to managers in this 6 months period. What they have that I don’t have.? I couldn’t tell you. They demand you meet almost unachievable financial goals and in turn now I have a guilty / shameful feeling associated to not performing well in their standards. It’s the stress and anxiety I take home with me everyday that’s so exhausting. Mentally this job takes a toll bc it’s a cult.
