      Pros

      Used to offer amazing benefits (golden handcuffs) Interesting missions Great worker bees.

      Cons

      Lack of care and concern for employees. Horrendous pay Political infighting amongst highest levels of management. Fear of retribution for anyone that doesn’t parrot (purpose, vision, values). This company is starting to swirl around the drain, just a matter of time until it goes under.

      Diversity & Inclusion out the window with Advent acquisition

      Pros

      The work is usually interesting and the data is unmatched.

      Cons

      Leadership is the main con at Maxar. There is talk of diversity and inclusion being an important pillar but then 100% of the new ELT brought on by Advent is white. That can only be by design. Direct leadership will make promises they don't intend to keep. There is no reward for a job well done because the company is bleeding out money so significantly they can't afford to give out bonuses or promotions. When people share ideas for product improvements you should listen to them instead of relying on the same stale PMs that have been there since day one and clearly don't know how to innovate.

      Nice coworkers, bad management and poorly run

      There are a lot of nice people who work here. My teammates have been the highlight of working here.

      Cons

      Poor management, disorganized, executives don’t care about employees and just follow whatever the board/advent says to do, below market wages
