      Weird workplace

      Pros

      good training. Office provided snacks on Wednesdays

      Cons

      they overinflated the value of the stock, caused the stock to crash, lost contracts, and laid a ton of us off. I heard they got bought out by private equity and that the private equity is running Maxar into the ground. Not a good look for a satellite company. We need continuity.

      Pros

      Some of people really are passionate about space and the work they do. Successful progress is tangible.

      Cons

      Schedules are impossible to achieve. Overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays are expected. Poor communication across functional groups. Outdated equipment and facilities.
