      Very Difficult But Rewarding With Career Growth Opportunities

      -Best of breed solutions that clients love as long as you spend time with them to keep up on their projects/use cases -Strong network/client base which is starting to create momentum so its not so much cold outreach -Fair compensation/benefits with possibility of RSU for outstanding performance -Sales training is difficult due to sheer volume of information but is top notch -Sales cycle is down to a science, no hard selling necessary, all consultative. -Work from home so it helps to balance out the hours required to be successful

      Cons

      -Incredibly fast/high work rate and activity required to be successful -First year on the job requires a firm 60hr/week commit to get momentum but after that its a normal 40-50 and the deals keep flowing due to the nature of the sales cycle/formula even if you have a bad quarter -Most employees are remote/work from home and not much budget is spent on team building or meet-ups

      Pros

      There is just something about the people and the culture at Varonis that makes it a legitimately enjoyable place to work. I came to Varonis from a completely non-related, non-technical field, and they trained me from the ground up and put me on a path for growth and promotion within the company. I look forward to coming to work each morning, and I can easily say that I am friends with all of my coworkers. The work culture is vibrant and carefree, and we all work together to reach our goals for ourselves and for the company. It is all too easy to get invested in what we do and what we can offer others, and that leads to everyone uniting together both when working and when not.

      Cons

      To anyone looking to apply, I encourage it completely, but know that the hiring process is not easy. They only take the best from large, multi-stage group interviews for training, so it is very intimidating and far from simple. My only advice is to fight through it, because the result is incredibly rewarding.

      Great solution. Fantastic benefits . They hire great like minded people who really get along and have fun together Yaki is a visionary and I was proud to have worked for him

      Cons

      Tough quotas. No strict policies around performance enforcement. Ive seen similar performing employees get totally different treatment-1 gets promoted to a non-sales role the other terminated Sales training is run by non-sales people and less than average performers Growth opps are real but not as plentiful as is messaged Fear of Loss motivation is rampant. Most ppl internally you will find resent that. Micromanagement - because its their way ( not always the right way) Some management has no place in leadership positions. HR deepy is rigid and each word should be chosen very very carefully when dealing with them. They will stab you in your back and they talk like lawyers.
