      Great Company all around dwarfs small difficulties in initial training

      Pros

      I've been on for only a month. So far... - Pay & benefits are solid. They really take care of their employees. - Team culture & direct management are awesome. - Workload & expectations seem appropriate. - Lots of innovation happening, so very open to new ideas (so long as they're substantial and evidence-based).

      Cons

      I came at a season of great changes in products, so the training available was very much in flux. Yet, while some of this could have been helped through greater planning between departments / anticipation of needs and changes required for training, overall I do feel they are doing well in responding swiftly to a rapidly changing market.

      Pros

      What has impressed me most about working at Varonis is the amount of care everyone has for each other. From the moment I onboarded, Varonis was taking care of me. The office environment is fantastic; laid back and many quality-of-life perks such as free food and snacks, plus great coffee selections. The dress code is flexible and having the ability to work from home is a major perk. The compensation, in my opinion, is probably one of the best I've seen in Raleigh.

      Industry-leading software with little-to-no real competition. Incredible field-level and customer-facing staff.

      Cons

      Mid-level and executive leadership are too far removed from field operations to be effective. Culture of excessive micromanagement. Little-to-no work/life balance.
