      Poor management causing the talents to leave

      Pros

      People are nice to each other and willing to assist. A place where you work very hard but learn a lot.

      Cons

      The management is horrible! Talented and kind people are running out of the company. You can hear shouting and the higher managers can shout at each other on the office kitchen. The politics between the managers and directors affects the employees that get has to pay the price. If you are nice and polite, they will abuse you what causing those people also to leave. Doesn't pay good and cheap on giving options to employees. It seem like some of the reviews in here were written by directors (or actually one specific VP)

      You get to become very friendly with the other employees. HQ is very young office

      Cons

      After the company went public, the ability to move up organically through the company has dissipated. This causes Varonis to lose a lot of good people and there is a high rate of turn over. Management has a tendency of micromanaging employees, it is the culture and norm at all levels of management. Plan on reporting everything into CRM and have no one look at that data, but expect you to regurgitate that data at a moments notice.

      Pros

      Varonis is a place where everyone knows everyone, and your opinion really counts and heard! the managers are always available for you, and you get lots of opportunities to step up and show yourself. you learn a lot, you work hard, and you get compensated for it!

      Cons

      if you are not up for taking responsibilities on yourself and work fast and get things done, you will not enjoy. otherwise you will have the time of your life!
