Pros
Amazing product suite for IT auditing that you can really believe in as you support it. Can learn what it takes to address dozens of business use cases if you observe the work from the correct angle. Nice benefits package, loose dress code, free lunch supplies. Long days but so far never had a reason or need to work after hours.
Cons
Poor training, poor expectation setting, lax management, lack of foresight. The policies and procedures are flexible and are changing in an attempt to keep up with volume, but not thinking far enough ahead to see the pitfalls of decisions and/or not caring about the consequences is creating a tough atmosphere to work in. General lack of management involvement overall when trying to deal with the fallout from the above-mentioned decisions. Developer/Engineering availability stops at 11am daily and is non-existent on Fridays which creates impossible customer service scenarios. Culture seems to be: Keep doing more no matter how busy you are.
