Pros

They say the right stuff. They have a safety program and a production bonus program. The production schedule has a lot going for it. It is split in two shifts each basically 12 hours 3 days on four off with Wednesday being the alternate day. So you have a 3 day weekend which includes either a Sunday or a Saturday.

Cons

Very top heavy management, several layers of management, a lot of nepotism and cronyism, it is much more about your social connection than your merit on the job or knowledge of the process. Foreign born people are at an extreme in that a number of them have been employed for more than 10 years and are still held in entry level positions and pay. The process of promotion via the internal procedures includes contacting people to sign off on completion of certain training that has little or nothing to do with the job functions being performed. This is disadvantageous to people whose English language are somewhat limited. Note that some people become "PO3's" without going through the internal process. The other major problem is initial training and build books. Initial training is OJT with someone who has little ability in training. The build books have not been update in the last decade and yet they are what the new people have to follow even if the material used in the build book are not used. How this company turns a profit is beyond me.

Pros

There are some very nice people to work with here.

Cons

If you have an option to go somewhere else, do it!! Whatever it is, you can do better than this place. You will be lied to here and treated like dirt. You can do everything possible to do a good job and it won't matter. They will find something wrong. Bonus's are not worth it. They used to have holiday parties but recently decided not to because they weren't giving bonus's there. Like the holiday itself isn't a good enough reason for everyone to get together?! A LOT of employees were more disappointed about no party than no bonus. HR is a joke as far as keeping things secret and the sexual harassment is unbelievable. I can't believe this company (and many of the people that work there) haven't been sued.
