Pros

Vecna is steadily heading for broad success. The market for our products is huge, and it's fun to work for a company that is winning. Growth creates more career opportunities and keeps things from getting stale. Employees here are characterized by kindness and respect. There is a strong culture of public recognition. Issues are dealt with directly instead of talking behind people's backs. Managers are generally characterized by intentionality and transparency. Keeping employees happy, engaged, and growing is no accident at Vecna. Salary and benefits are very competitive and professionally executed. The benefits are second to none: flexible PTO, 100% covered healthcare, standard 401k matching, all public commuting costs covered, great office space, free snacks, free lunches once per week, etc.

Cons

Vecna is transitioning from a startup to a more mature company. That brings more processes and bureaucracy which aren't fun but are necessary for scaling. Lots of the senior executives are remote which isn't great for building culture, transparency, and trust.

In addition to total rewards, we also provide learning and development opportunities and hold company events to support our culture and values. As we continue to grow, we refine our processes. When these updates occur, they are communicated to the team and are transparent. Our executive team members who are remote are in roles that require frequent travel to customer sites and shows. However, they visit our Waltham, MA office regularly, and are always available for video chats and calls. We hear your advice about relationships and will relay it to the team.
