Great engineers, lacking senior management

Pros

Great benefits - flexible hours, full health and dental, and a great office. Fellow engineers are smart, hardworking, collaborative, and kind. The work is very interesting, designing complex and effective complete solutions for big name costumers. The day to day is engaging and I feel as though I am making a meaningful contribution to a stellar product.

Cons

Upper management is unreliable and largely uninformed. There is a lack of trust between engineers and their direct managers and more senior management. After past layoffs and constantly changing requirements and focus, it defeats morale. Years ago at the company, we had reliable and competent management that got us to a successful point - it feels like a lot of that work is being undone by the current leadership team
