Treat SE's very well

Pros

I loved the SE community at Veeam. This was a true teaming environment. If you had any questions or issues, your SE's were always there to help when asked.

Cons

One of the reason's I left is that the Sales team would often change up the quotas that were not fair.

Pros

Extremely kind culture! Hire the nicest colleagues and have a very “collaborative” environment.

Cons

The very collaborative environment means many different roles feel they have a say in how to drive your deals, without understanding the account or big picture. Many , many different departments are compensated on each deal, so you will get constant internal calls for updates and short-sided recommendations on how to close your deals. Leadership will support this activity, and idea of team selling outside of the sales, leadership and engineering with your department.
