Pros

Great product, it almost sells itself, customers love it and the support Veeam provides. The company is continually growing and becoming more and more competitive on the market. Salary package is above average.

Cons

There is a lot of micro-management going on; a very big emphasis is put on reporting and monitoring the reps. You are being told that you should be independent, but micro-management is continuous. A bit of a call- center atmosphere.

Pros

Veeam has a great technology and has a fast, paced, dynamic culture. There is very little red-tape which means that you can just get on with your job without unnecessary procedures blocking your way. The huge growth still makes it exciting and there is a genuine buzz around the place, yet despite the growth Veeam has still maintained its start-up style culture. The social-side is also good, with lots of events and opportunities to get together socially with your local and wider team. Veeam certainly play as hard as they work.

Cons

The 'just get on with it' culture does not appeal to those who prefer to hide behind corporate policies, because there aren't any. This means you have to be self-suffcient and make things happen on your own. This can be a big shock if you are from a big company like Microsoft. The only other con is a lack of any clear career path which is why people leave in the end, not because they don't like it - it's great (see above) - but because they have to leave in the end to progress their careers. To be fair, Veeam sort of expects that and leaving is generally a no-fuss affair unless you go to a competitor.
