- fast growing company, lots of opportunity - fast paced and highly productive environment - high-impact work benefiting Life Sciences - Employee development budget, supported internal transfers, company equity
Cons
There are always trade-offs. At Veeva you can move fast in deliverying high impact functionality which increases speed and effectiveness of Life Sciences. What empowers us to move fast is leveraging our Vault platform. Using an app development platform does mean less freedom to pick new technologies, use managed services in the cloud etc (there are "guard-rails" that allow us to move fast, but they do present some limitations). Using an industry leading platform can be a significant "Pro" for many, but for some that wish to grab the latest cloud tech off the shelf it may be considered a "con".

Pros
-Little to no politics -Quality team of engineers -CEO is hands-on -Mission primarily serves to help people -Creative freedom is encouraged -I haven't had to buy groceries in four months (breakfast, lunch and packed dinners are great) -Office space and cafeteria are incredibly nice -People seem to genuinely care throughout the organization -Stock continues to perform well and 2017 guidance is encouraging -I enjoy coming to work everyday and there is a lot to be said for that
Cons
-Average base pay and benefits -Hiring process is often arduous -Limited brand awareness outside of niche space
