      Best Company I worked for..why did I leave?

      Pros

      I worked at Veeva for 5 years as a snr consultant in the R&D team. It was the best company I’ve ever worked for. You do need to be able to learn, ask questions and deliver quality work, but that should be a given right? I’ve never been at a company where everyone was so helpful. What you put in is what you get out of it. The share price has taken a hit so it’s not been as lucrative as it once was. Why did I leave? I got a job in industry that paid a lot more. Will the people be better? Probably not, but with everything I’ve learnt here will help me be successful.

      Honestly in my exit interview there wasn’t anything I could say. Maybe the 2% 401K match?

      good benefits flexibility of working from anywhere

      Cons

      Toxic company/marketing team. A high TURNOVER rate. Lots of micromanagement. There’s always a lack of communication yet there’s always back to back meetings. They expect you to have a knowledge of a 10+ years experienced marketer. The manager has favorites so if you’re not one of their favorites - good luck! The CEO is also toxic. He doesn’t trust his own employees and likes to micromanage.
