Pros
The Founder & CEO is very humble and comes into office almost everyday for work. I can go up to him and say hi. He casually chats with new engineers. Lunch is free, and work-life balance is nice. CEO shows that he is only interested in long-term growth for the company and is conservative on hiring to reduce the chances of layoffs. We have an internal Facebook system that allows you to learn about and reach out to anyone from any department. Open door policy. Management is respected for their knowledge and experience by young employees.
Cons
People say 401K match is not as high as other companies. I think that's true. But all the basic tech company benefits are there. Promotions/salary progression is not very transparent, as any other big company. The offices are located outside of the big cities, which is a con for a young social person like me. Documentation and training can be improved.
