Public, profitable, and growing. Veeva is a "grown-up start-up" in that it has already achieved scale and PMF but continues to innovate and grow by listening to customers and moving quickly. Employees get an annual budget to donate to charities and another one for trainings. Product teams have autonomy to make their own technical decisions, and developers enjoy great work-from-home equipment.
