Pros

Not a single pros here. full of stress.

Cons

Based on my experience, this organization seriously harmed my career growth instead of supporting it. Learning opportunities were limited, and I didn’t see a clear path to develop skills or move up. A lot of decisions felt driven by internal politics. It also seemed like a specific group of people who came from the same previous company had most of the influence, and others had very little voice. Leadership style was heavily controlling. The head of the organization was involved in day-to-day work at a very granular level, and it created a constant pressure environment. In meetings, I witnessed senior leaders (director level) speaking in a disrespectful, humiliating way, which made the culture feel hostile rather than professional. HR did not appear independent. In practice, HR felt like they were only following leadership’s instructions, even when policies and employee concerns needed to be handled fairly. Leave policies were particularly frustrating. I faced restrictions that didn’t feel reasonable (for example, being blocked from taking casual leave more than once in a month), and even when leave was available or expiring, it still felt difficult to use. Overall, it came across as a violation of the spirit of basic HR and leave policies. Work was tightly monitored. There was software on the system to track whether you completed a full eight hours, and it was communicated (directly or indirectly) that fewer tracked hours could negatively impact ratings. That kind of monitoring created stress and reduced trust. Overall: I would not recommend joining if you care about respect, healthy leadership, and long-term growth. If you have options, consider waiting for a better opportunity or choosing a workplace with a more supportive culture.
