Monthly salary is lower than average of the similar positions in the industry Very slow and steady yearly salary increment(less than 5%) for my experience even if you performed very well in a relatively small project.
Slow promotions as well. Therefore the project that you are attached to is very important but you pretty much don't have a choice to choose.
Management roles and leading roles are mainly held by senior and very senior staff, pretty much fixed already. Meaning the chances to climb the ladder in the corporate is very slim for many old staff, let alone the new comers. Unless you are extremely good in what you do and you outperform everyone else. So far didn't see anyone gotten such a chance till the time I quite, as least not that I know of.
You will be asked to handle multiple tasks or various different tasks outside your job scope in the name of nurturing you when there's not enough manpower to do the job. That's true to an extend because you do get to learn new things, but not in an appropriate, healthy and a fair way. And that is you don't get paid extra for doing extra work.
There is no cross departmental social-communicational culture within the company. You only get to meet people from other department when you need to work with them.
