      Pros

      Even though the wages are low you do have a good bonus of 17.5% and everyone seems to have car allowance in Veolia.

      Cons

      Working with the Unions, Veolia Es Sheffield is very much over run by the Union this proves very difficult to try and make any changes for management structure or try to improve any process because all you get from the work force is we will just have to speak to the union even if it to try and help it is all just one big battle field between the Veolia,Sheffield City council and the union

      Great work, no crisis in waste management

      Cons

      - not too bad if you are French (and from the right school)?, it doesn't quite look the same in terms of opportunites if you are not... especially in the London area - Directors surrounded by yes-men and a lot (I mean a lot) of internal politics - Some cleaning has been undertaken recently but when I worked there a lot of Directors' and Senior Managers' positions were occupied by persons who arrived in the company when it was a quarter of its actual size, these guys were still trying to run the supermarket Veolia had become like your local grocery store

      Pros

      staff discount. Working outside when it was sunny. come to work, go home with zero worries.

      Cons

      Poor management, poor wages. Place i worked tended to have major favoritisim, and you could never get overtime as others were always first asked.
