      Cliquish, Harassing and Miserable

      Pros

      The pay is substantial. The benefits are competitive.

      Cons

      Socially cliquish environment where you have to fit in or get out. It doesn't matter how hard you work or how gratified the customers are with the quality of your work. It's all about whose rear end you kiss and whose ego you fondle. The more entrenched and uneducated they are, the more dangerous they are to your success. Veolia rewards mediocrity. The "pros" of substantial pay and benefits are a trap.

      Pros

      Veolia offers great benefits to their employees. Safety is a priority at Veolia. Veolia is also providing constant training to employees.

      Cons

      Corporate culture, at times, is a drag and impedes on productivity. Some of the training provided by Veolia is useless.

      Pros

      Veolia has a lot of smart, hard-working people. The company is moving towards making more decisions based upon data rather than opinion.

      Cons

      Too many of the decisions are political, which frequently results in poor performance of departments and divisions. Seniority seems to trump everything else, making instituting change very difficult.
