Pros

Purpose isn’t just a buzzword but is felt through everything and talked about with passion. Ecological transformation is a phrase that doesn’t resonate with every colleague but the purpose and ambition is clear to see. Colleagues are great and everyone is friendly and helpful when needed. I would recommend but they do still have improvements to make.

Cons

They constantly seek feedback but you rarely see tangible actions from this. Even from VoR, it is discussed heavily but there are never any actions and changes as a result. Continuous development is mentioned a lot but in some roles this will never happen. Some colleagues are pushed and are able to achieve their goals, for others it’s very hard/impossible. The business has many locations that it almost feels like lots of little businesses as the way they are run and the culture differs hugely between offices and sites. Time and time feedback is that people just don’t have enough capacity but nothing is ever done. Sometimes you do work because somebody says they want something and then you never receive a follow up or anything else- when time is tight and teams are lean this is not a value add. People also think you are always available via chat or for a quick call, this needs to be reduced so that the focus can be on the actual day job and not pointless meetings and calls. I don’t think enough is done to celebrate DE&I. Again, its site dependant as to what is celebrated and to what level, what comes out from head office can be very light touch.
