      Great people, chaotic leadership

      Pros

      There are so many wonderful people who work for Valassis/Vericast - and many who care very deeply. Compensation is good, the unlimited PTO is also good (I've noticed that people do actually take advantage of that, which is excellent).

      Cons

      Lots of cuts and unclear strategies. Leadership seems to be a bit lost on how to bring a bunch of these companies and their strategies together. Senior leaders feel lost in the shuffle and undervalued - even on the sales side where we are told the company is "making it a priority." It just feels disorganized and then the blame is being dumped everywhere but the executive leadership team.
