Pros
It was once a great place to work. Met a lot of sharp people here, and it is fun working on products you see in the wild on a daily basis.
Cons
Massive layoffs recently with zero transfer of knowledge or handoff of any kind whatsoever. The new CEO appears to be a stooge installed by the overtaking private equity firm - at least his rants and raves are amusing. Since the company is so distributed, it is not clear who remains, what the roles are, or if there is any purpose whatsoever in continuing at this outfit. This distributed nature has also led to zero chance of meaningful career advancement, so at least the pay is good. Consider it a payoff to accept your stagnation.
