Pros

Salary is on par with the area. Benefits are okay, but lacking in other areas.

Cons

We have been remote for over 5 years and was ensured we would stay that way after getting raves from leadership for being productive and exceeding goals. That changed after a new CFO came in and is now starting the RTO process. Assuming it’s a RIF in disguise.

Pros

Company's mission is valuable, rewarding, satisfying - this is the biggest plus by far. Salary is nice. Logo looks ok.

Cons

Bad management: There are a few seriously spoiled apples in low to mid management, and upper management has no clue. They *promised* (in writing) that Verisign would stay in fully remote mode even after the pandemic. And now they force the employees back into the office, for now only 2 days, but we know where this is heading. You cannot trust management on any level. Run if you have other options.
