There are pros and cons with this company.
Pros
Working at Verisign is a mixed bag. The benefits are great from the health, dental, and vision. They have stock plan to purchase stocks at 15% discount and the RSUs keep you there. The work-life balance is great. If you are looking for a place where you can just go to work and leave it there for the weekend, this is the place. There is no sense of urgency. Because the company is ultra-conservative and needs to minimize risks on the .com and .net business, legal reviews everything before it goes out. It's not a normal way to do business. It's where executives go if they are near the end of their career. Benefits and bonuses are great and are almost guaranteed every year!
Cons
Heavy process, no sense of urgency to get things done, legal controls everything, and no promotional path. There is very few promotional opportunities at this company. There's a tight boys network and if you are not part of it, you will not get promoted.
