Pros

Unified purpose to serve insurance industry. Varied organisation with commonality of sales, product development and client servicing themes across business operating model. Leadership efforts for staff are genuine. Values align with organisational day-to-day, not just words or aspirations.

Cons

Hybrid working is great, but still a requirement for min of 2 days per week onsite. Something like min of 80 days a year, including international travel, would be more flexible. Money could be better, not known as upper or third quartile for that. Balanced with everything else being great, including work:life balance. And HR takes career track frameworks seriously.

Pros

Verisk really supports my role, helping me to expand my career prospects and my purchasing knowledge has increased immensely since I joined almost 2 years ago. The company encourage creativity and are always open to new strategies and ideas and they also offer many learning opportunities.

Cons

The downside is there can be really busy periods and deadlines to meet, but I wouldn't really call this a downside as it is natural to have these times and although pressure increases there is still support and help where needed and we work together as a team to achieve the results needed.
