* Compensation is fair. * They provide an exceptional and stable environment for effective team members. * They encourage a good work-life balance. * They still support remote and hybrid work situations. * The work is challenging and fulfilling, with many opportunities to solve meaningful problems in the insurance industry. * Turnover is lower than that of other software developers I have worked for.

Cons

* Though their total compensation is fair, salaries tend to lag behind industry norms a bit. * Verisk is a large corp, and change takes longer to enact than at a smaller company. *

Pros

Great culture that encourages learning/thinking outside of the box to solve problems. For the most part, all newer tech stacks. The pay is great compared to the industry. Paid time off is amazing.

Cons

None that I can think of, besides late night releases for people working in eastern time zone (my group is located in mountain time zone)
