      Management is abusive

      Pros

      The people outside of management! I’m lucky enough to have met some incredible and supportive coworkers along the way.

      Cons

      Management at verisk is abusive. You have to work ten hour days, management will tell you to work weekends on top of that, then tell you that you’re bad at your job and need to try harder with zero guidance. There is no work life balance.

      Flexible management - managers are willing to work with you when you experience life's waves

      Cons

      Overworked - there's so much work to be done and you can expect to be wearing multiple hats No room for growth - there's almost no room for verticle growth in the support department you can expect to be in your position for years with no growth opportunity Security - over the last 2 years we've had 3 CEO's and over the last year especially there were quite a few layoffs. If you work for one of the many companies verisk has bought and not the parent company Your position is never secure Pay - the amount they pay for retention vs new hires is not competitive in the market and your wages will not keep up with the cost of living

      Very Cliqueish, Office politics, Micro-managers all over.
