      Pros

      I love the people I work with. The environment is a great work environment and it is the reason why I stay.

      Cons

      Verisk doesn't stay competitive with pay or benefits. They find excuses rather than doing what needs to be done to take care of employees.

      5 weeks parental leave for father, generous PTO, good insurance, 401K, community service as a company, annual performance review, upper management kept everyone informed, stable company even during the pandemic

      Cons

      Low/non-competitive pay, organization was constantly changing, performance review rating dependent on how team members perform because managers are limited on how many excellent ratings they can give, no defined career path

      I love the work-life balance, WFH during quarantine has been great and efficient, decent PTO and benefits, decent pay. Very close knit and friendly teams

      Cons

      The higher ups have mentioned that they want us returning from WFH to 3 in office days a week, after almost 2 years of successfully and efficiently doing full time WFH. Really ridiculous to commute 2hrs total 3 days a week to program in a cubicle when I can get the same work at home. I wouldn't mind 1 day a week or every other week for meetings, but going back to 3 days a week after 2 years of full time WFH is terrible and if this is actually going to be the case I will not be as happy working here.
