Unorganized , poorly run company with an extremely bad outlook for 2013..will company be around in 2014!

Pros

Mobile market is hot, good industry to have on resume. Beautiful building. Garage Parking, good health insurance, cafeteria has good food!

Cons

Company had 3 lay offs from August 2012 thru January 2013 (sales and marketing mostly - not great way to sell product) and one forth of dvlmpt team quit in Q4 alone. Company is horrible at managing budgets ....will there even be a Verivo by end of 2013? Highly doubt it. People are leaving company at alarming rates ...upper management staff leaving or looking to leave as well. New Hires stay about 6 months. Look at LinkedIn at people who left 2012 & 2013 alone!

Pros

Not many pros left, good facility, lots of parking, on-site gym (but there is a fee), on-site small cafe.

Cons

Layoffs, several rounds, and many of the staff that were not laid off are looking for other jobs frantically. Things have declined steadily since the CTO and others have left. The atmosphere is pretty dark. Also, engineering is a complete death march now. 50% short staffed on 'sprints' and very, long hours/weekends.

Revolving door of arrogant incompetent senior management blows a chance to own the mobile application/platform space

Pros

There are some very good IT people on staff. It was an exciting place to work in the early days of mobility. Still have friends from there

Cons

senior management has no idea how to attack the market and protects each other rather than look in the mirror for the company's shortfalls. There have been 5+ heads of sales in the last few years - the problems aren't in sales, it's in the product roadmap, the dysfunctional IT leadership and the lack of self awareness on the senior management team.
